Our Process

Our goal is to help clients achieve financial peace, and that means working together as a team. Starting with your current situation, we’ll work toward setting goals and deciding how to measure your progress. As a Certified Financial Planner, Tripp is qualified to take you through the financial planning process.

Here are steps in the financial planning process:

  1.  Discuss how to work as a team

Financial planning is a team effort. We will go over the services we provide and explain your responsibilities. We will discuss how long the professional relationship will last, compensation,  and how we will both make decisions.

  1. Collect financial information and determine goals

We will examine your current financial situation and collect any necessary documents. Together, we’ll define your personal and financial goals, timeframes, and your comfort level when it comes to taking financial risks.

  1. Develop and present recommendations

After analyzing your finances and your goals, we will develop a strategy to determine how to address these goals. We will go over our financial recommendations, explaining the rationale so you can make informed decisions. We will address your questions and concerns, and revise our recommendations if necessary.

  1. Put recommendations into action

Once a plan is mapped out, we will need to agree on how the plan will be put into effect. We will implement our recommendations, or guide you in the process, including working with other professionals, such as attorneys or accountants.

  1. Monitor your plan

As your plan is carried out, we will monitor your progress to make sure you are where you need to be. We’ll check in with you to review your situation and make any necessary revisions to the plan
