Rich Carver’s life is grounded by the importance of faith, family, and friendships. As a husband and father of seven, he will tell you he is big on time allocation. “You are expendable in the workplace, but no one is expendable in their unique role at home.” After watching his mother, Sandra Carver, impact clients’ lives at her firm, Carver Capital, Rich fell in love with the idea of helping families and individuals plan for their best lives. Upon graduating from the University of Georgia in 1998, Rich worked for one of the nation’s largest insurance providers, specializing in employee and retirement benefits for mid-size to large corporations. Following several years’ employment as an investment manager with a large brokerage firm in Atlanta, Rich realigned his personal and professional goals. He joined Carver Capital, where the independent family environment allowed Rich to “serve, not sell” his clients. Rich’s mom passed in 2013, and in 2020, Rich joined forces with Tripp Mullen as a founding partner at The Anchor Financial Group. Rich is a dedicated advisor who offers clients his sincere, experienced eye in helping them plan with what they have now so they can work towards achieving their financial goals and dreams.
Rich is a Georgia native who loves the outdoors. He and his wife, Jennifer, reside in Andrews, NC, with their seven children: Christian, Andrew, Matthew, Rachel, Rebecca, Aaron, and Mary. Outside the office, the Carvers serve at church, work on their farm, and love staying active. Rich coaches the kids in sports, and likes to golf and fish when he has the opportunity. He also enjoys watching UGA Football, PGA Golf, NCAA March Madness, and all Atlanta professional sports teams.
